Oliver Peoples and The Row partner to create a new collaboration of sunglasses. The project was born with the idea of marrying two brands with similar artistic sentiments. Consisting of half a dozen styles inspired by quintessential Oliver Peoples designs, the collection reflects The Row’s effortless design sensibility and understated elegance, combined with Oliver Peoples’ iconic eyewear and Southern California influence. The Row sunglasses represent specific traits from both labels, including linear engraved metal and discreetly placed logo plaques. The initial collaboration of six styles were reinterpreted from past Oliver Peoples designs and features the O’Malley NYC, which is a larger reinterpretation than the original. This marks the first time that Oliver Peoples has ever allowed an outside interpretation of this brand-defining style. Additions to the collaborative effort are Board Meeting 2 and Brownstone 2, which infuse the collection with alternative shape options. Suited for professional daywear or a late-night aesthetic, the frames combine the artistic sentiments of both brands, resulting in a serious set of shades.
